(Established January of 2000)
Who we are:
We are God's people, touched by His presence, impassioned for His person, empowered by His Spirit for His purposes.
Our Mission:
Twin Lakes Christian Assemblies of God exists to bring people to Jesus and to membership in His family, develop them to Christlike maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world, in order to magnify God's Name.
Our slogan:
"Loving God, Loving People"
Our Vision:
1. Evangelism (Mission):
- We will be a church of witnesses, passionately proclaiming what we have seen and heard. (Click here to see how to become a child of God. This is your life's most important decision, and the beginning of your journey with the family of God.)
- We will equip and train witnesses with the skills necessary so they in turn can equip others.
- Our church will be a multiplying church, planting churches locally and abroad
- We will be a church that is growing numerically, continually increasing in the numbers of those attending our services.
2. Worship (Magnify)
- We will be known as a people of His presence.
- Our worship style will be current, where we are ever adjusting to the Spirit's leading, neither neglecting nor being bound by tradition.
- Our worship will be marked by passion, motivated by passion, and expressed back toGod through passionate seeking after the manifest presence of God.
- We will be a people of prayer, waiting before God, not simply to be heard, but that we ight hear His voice.
3. Fellowship (Membership)
- We will be a people who are marked by passion for God and each other.
- The people of our church will express deep love for one another through humility, entleness, servanthood, forbearance, sincere communication, trust, loyalty, hope and prayer.
- We will be a church whose love is compelling, drawing the lost to Christ, becoming a doorway leading to the fullness of Christ.
4. Discipleship (Maturity)
- We will be a church with an ever-increasing passion for the Word of God.
- We will be a church who will live out our passion by consistent study of and obedience to the Word of God that is present to teach, rebuke, correct and train us in all righteousness.
- We will be a church that calls all people to maturity in Christ by displaying before them a clear line of progressions
- Our church will give high priority to discipleship by equipping leaders who will model the truth: "Follow me as I follow Christ".
5. Ministry (Ministry)
- We will be a church that models, in word and action, the attitude of Christ expressed in the truth that He did not come "...to be served, but to serve and to give His life..."
- We will be a church of ministers: everyone a minister, and a ministry for everyone.
- We as a church will strive to meet felt needs in order to overcome spiritual blindness.
We believe in the fundamental truths as expressed by The Assemblies of God General Council. (See below)

Two years after the founding of the Assemblies of God, members adopted 16 beliefs for the Fellowship. This list, known as the Statement of Fundamental Truths, remains virtually unchanged. Four of these beliefs are considered the major tenets of the Fellowship. They are:
1. Salvation Through Jesus Christ (John 3:3, 16, 17; Romans 10:13; Ephesians 2:8, 9)
Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God, according to the hope of eternal life.
2. Baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8; 2:4; 17, 18, 38, 39)
All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. With it comes the enduement of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry.
3. Divine Healing for the Sick (James 5:14-16)
Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers.
4. The Second Coming of Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:14-16; 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52)
The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand years.
